Evan
Evan
46E / 37405

1.5 years old (4/06)
Fawn Male

This sweet boy needs a family, and lots of people with whom he can bond!  Evan is a little light-fawn boy who is craving a large family with a consistent schedule!  Evan craves repetitive situations, and wants to be on a schedule, so he can please you and not be confused.  He's got a great energy level, and will make you feel just as loved as you make him feel, if not moreso.  But he's not a lap-jumper or hyper.  He's "just right!"

Moves
JNB Great Moves
32H / 10935

6 years old (3/1/02)
Red Brindle & White Male

This is one extra-special hound!  Moves is more gazelle than greyhound!  If you're looking for a dog that is athletic and responsive, itching to learn, then Moves is for you!  He does not like to play rough; he likes to play with elegance!  His athleticism is something to behold!  His personality similarly exudes grace!  Moves is a pet for the upper crust!

Elle
Smile Elle
65E / 33234

2.5 years old (10/6/05)
Blue Brindle Female

This girl is one of theeee most beautiful greys we have ever had on offer!  Elle is a brindle, but her colors are yellow-and-black, a rarer form of brindle.  Moreover, her coat is one of the softest we've ever felt.  Looks aside, her personality is even better than her appearance!  Elle is very much a people-hound!  With adults, she is very sweet and interactive!  With other greyhounds, she's Click here to read the entire review.

Please visit the new Pups-Without-Partners booth just inside the entrance of The Woodlands. See photos of available pups and get adoption information. Sam
Kay Cee Samuel
94C / 28856

2.5 years old (9/12/04)
Brindle Male

Can't but toys from China any longer?  No need! Sam is absolutely the most energetic and excitable "rough and tumble" dogs we have ever seen!  If you have children between the ages of 8 and 12, and they can not be run to exhaustion, adopt Sam!  Guaranteed to put your kids to sleep by 7 every night!

Blast
Findem Blast
104B / 29851
Special Needs Dog

3 years old (10/23/04)
Red Male

This special red gentleman should have been a Golden Retriever.  He's sophisticated and classy, and he does not suffer fools easily!  He's bright and obedient, friendly and gentle.  Blast will do well by an older couple, and keep them company, and keep them comforted.  Blast will get along fine with other pets, but he will do just as well as the only man of the house!

Nash
Pike's Kidschlene
105E / 35098

2 years old (10/20/05)
Red Brindle Male

If a stately hound is more your taste, this is your man.  Nash will make you look good on evenings when you entertain, and will keep you company in your study while you read.  While Nash is quite athletic, he's retired now, and wishes to enjoy the finer things in life, like proudly accompanying you down stairs for coffee and a read of the paper.  Nash would appreciate you even more if that was the extent of your day!  But don't underestimate him!  Nash is a fantastic physical specimen, and needs a romp in the yard from time to time!  After all, he's still a greyhound racer!

Who
BS Yankee
35C / 31725

2 years old (3/20/05)
Black Male

Who's the orneriest dog in the kennel?  Sure is!  This guy needs a home, but needs a partner in crime!  Who is the comedian among the hounds, and will have you in stitches with his antics!  He's playful, energetic, and ready to buddy up with another dog to roam your yard and liven up your home!

Jonesy
B's Jones
123G / 23846

4 years old (12/20/03)
Dark Red Brindle Male

This handsome guy will be theeee most loyal pet you will ever own!  Jonesy is an intelligent and happy pleaser who has never ever caused a moment's trouble since coming to the adoption kennel.  If you want a trouble-free hound always by your side, select Jonesy.  We think Jonesy will do best in a home with an older female, as he is not an "alpha" dog, and he certainly enjoys the pack activities at the kennel.  Jonesy will always be "with the gang" but he will never be the one who kncoked over the plates or ate your slippers!

Diamond
PA's Diamond Gal
21D / 93768

7 years old (2/12/01)
White with Black Female

She's aptly named, not just for the perfectly symmetrical black gem markings on her head and back, but also for her incredibly sweet and well-mannered personality!  This girl is so very compliant and kind.  We do not observe her to enjoy much in the way of roughousing in the pens, and while still lithe in physique, she's not a runner.  Diamond will do well with a dedicated and devoted friend who simply would like to walk with her and talk to her every day.  Diamond enjoys the attention of a calm person, but will shy from noise or other dogs who are frisky.  Diamond will be th at friend who listens all of the time and who will always understand!  Diamond would indeed be a girl's best friend!

Estaban
Sucha JugaLug
95F / 34497

2 years old (9/3/05)
Black Male

His name says it all!  The exotic Estaban!  He is right out of central casting, and looks like he sould have accompanied Zoro on his last adventure!  Estaban is always slyly in the mix when the boys are all outside playing!  But he's the one never touched, the one who always seems to be just outside the fray when you yell for quiet!  He's going to make a fun home a laugh factory!

Taz
Primco Taz
23D / 17622

5 years old (2/6/03)
Dark Brindle Male

Don't be fooled by his name!  Taz is anything but!  He's spry and playful, but understands people's limits.  He's affectionate and loyal, but won't crowd you!  Taz is a singer, and he will let you know when you're off schedule!  He's a lot of fun! Taz is likely our smartest dog, and has learned tricks faster than any other kennel resident!

Konow
San Tan Konow
84D / 28322

3.5 years old (8/10/04)
Red Male

Konow or wish you had later!  This boy is special!  He's on the smaller side for a male, all lithe and well-muscled, slick, lean and quick!  Konow always seems to spark a little controvers y in the pens, but when we step outside to yelp for calm, he's alsways prancing around the fringes of the melee' acting like he knew nothing about the origins of the scrap!  He's just the funniest and most ornery little guy we've got right now!  Konow will do best with an energetic family, and at least one other dog.  We believe him to be Click here to read the entire review.

Summer
It's Summerbreeze
14D / 24320

4 years old (1/21/04)
White Brindle Female

This lady may be our brightest grey at the moment!  She seems almost educated and cultured, and she's equal parts sweet and observant!  Half the f un of doing chores is watching Summer watch us!  She's always gazing attentively, soaking up what we're doing!  Not a minute of her day is spent without purpose!  She's beautiful and elegant, and whip-smart!  Summer will do well with an individual or couple, and she'll adapt to a family unit as well.  Click here to read entire review.

Zeke
Utility Cop
26E / 36422

2 years old (2/6/06)
Black Male

He's equal parts sweet and shrewd!  Zeke wants to please, and is smart enough to be a quick learner!  He's like a sponge!  This little fella is a handsome black hound, slightly smaller than many of his racing counterparts.  If you're not expecting to adopt a second greyhound, but you have kids who want a dog to play with (but not roughhouse), then Zeke is perfect for your family.  On the other hand, if your kids are soon going off to college, you might want to pick another animal.  Zeke is sensitive because he's so bright, and won't do well if people he connects with later leave him forever.

Jasmine

24H / 24792

4 years old (2/16/04)
Brindle Female

Simon
Stormy Silence
95B / 34658

2 years old (9/9/05)
Red Male

No, he's not at all like the guy on American Idol!  He's just the opposite!  Far from being judgmental, Simon is exceedingly polite, sweet and docile!  We're amazed at his manners and kind disposition!  Don't worry, though!  Simon is energetic and well-behaved while in the pens with the other greys during playtime!  But what continually amazes us is his extremely polite and obedient and civil manners in the kennel!  Click here to read entire review.
