Hero: Janie McBride! If it wasn't for Janie hooking me up with my mom and dad….who knows?
Favorite Toy: My squeaky newspaper! Man that thing is loud, durable and it's fun to throw it up in the air and try to catch it.
Favorite Joke: How many Greyhounds does it take to screw in a light bulb? Answer: If it isn't moving…who cares? Hee hee. That's a good one, isn't it?
Funniest Moment: Well, I think it's funny but mom and dad think otherwise. One night mom and dad went to dinner and left the office door open. I thought it would be fun to go investigate that room while they were gone. Bogey told me know, but I don't listen to him very often. J I found this huge bag of rubber bands (over 5000) and decided to "decorate" the room for them. When they got home and discovered all the rubber bands construed everywhere, all they could do was laugh too.
Lessons Learned: Why don't adults like to get up early? I guess Mom and Dad like to sleep in on the weekends. They don't like it when I bring my fun squeaky newspaper in the bedroom at 5:45 a.m. and wake them up. Don't they know it's playtime? J
Thank you for reading my Happy Tale. I have moved from Topeka to Atlanta, GA., so I guess now I am a "southern greyhound belle". I am enjoying my retirement here in the South. I have also got to know other dogs in the neighborhood when I go on my walks. (I have a boyfriend next door name Joe; he's a yellow lab- we have daily play dates!)
Thanks to Pups Without Partners group at The Woodlands. This program in my mind is the best in the country!! Janie and her staff are the best!
