PWP-KC T-Bones Meet and Greet Schedule

PWP, T-Bones set 2008 schedule

   For the second straight season, the Pups Without Partners Greyhound Adoption Program at the Woodlands and the Kansas City T-Bones have scheduled four meet and greets during ball games at Community America Ballpark in Kansas City, Kan.
   The meet and greets give baseball fans an opportunity to meet the adoptable greyhounds as well as some greyhounds who have already been adopted in the area and to find out what great pets the retired racers can be.
   The PWP group will be set up in a tent down the right field line and will also be walking greyhounds around the park. There will be plenty of adoption information on hand as well as greyt stories on the post-racing lives of these wonderful dogs.
   With the announcement of The Woodlands closing on Aug. 24, the Pups Without Partners Adoption Progam has teamed up with Kansas City REGAP to facilitate the adoption of all of the dogs in the PWP program or on the racing compound at The Woodlands. If you want any information on adopting these greyt pets, please go to the KC REGAP site and fill out their application. Despite the track closing, the PWP will still have dogs at the T-Bones games on the scheduled dates.
