The Woodlands Pups Without Partners Adoption Program consists of four steps:
1. Fill out and return the application.
2. Attend a greyhound education class if you have never owned a greyhound.
3. A home visit to check for safety of the greyhound - a fenced yard is highly recommended.
4. Matching you with a greyhound.

Our adoption fee is $200. This includes spay/neuter, ultrasonic dental, fecal and heartworm testing, all vaccinations are current and the greyhound is on heartworm preventative. You also receive a Martingale collar with a brass address tag and leash.

Prior to the education class, I will ask that you read one of the following books on greyhounds.
They are loaded with information and will put some questions in your mind to ask about how a greyhound
will fit into your home.

They are:
"Adopting The Racing Greyhound" by Cynthia Branigan
or
"Greyhounds For Dummies" by Lee Livingood

In addition, if you have children under 12, you will need to read "Childproofing Your Dog" by Brian
Kilcommons .

I will mail an application out if you are interested and you send me your address. You can contact me via email at jmcbride@woodlandskc.com or call the Pups Without Partners Program at 913-596-5955.

Thanks!
Janie
