Pups Without Partners Director We live in a state - Kansas - that is saturated with greyhounds. We have one full time track and a seasonal track. We have the highest concentration of breeding farms in the United States. We have more adoption groups than we have ever had before.
Pups Without Partners works closely with
Greyhound Support in Kansas
City (GSKC) to ship some of the greyhounds in our
kennel to various adoption groups across the United States and
into Canada. This provides another outlet for the greyhounds of
Kansas to move into "forever" homes.
We only ship to approved adoption groups where they provide
similar screening and education to the adopters and provide a
"safety net" for the greyhound in case anything unforeseen
happens in the life of that greyhound. The majority of Pups Without Partners greyhounds will go to
their new groups "adoption ready". They have been
spayed/neutered, fecal tested for internal parasites (and wormed
if needed), tested for heartworms (they are all on monthly
heartworm preventative), current on all vaccinations, and most
importantly they have all had a complete dental. We all
know how important a dental is to a greyhound!
If you are working with an adoption group out of the Kansas City
area, you may contact the kennel to inquire about any greyhound
on our
site. Keep in
mind that a representative from your group must contact GSKC for
any greyhound requested. I will only give temperament and
necessary health information to an individual from the adoption
agency.
Thanks for keeping the process flowing in the right direction!" |
