Some of the Greyhound owners and their retired racing greyhounds who gathered at The Woodlands on May 12 for the semi-annual Night of Stars pose for a group photo. However, one of the dogs, Diablo (foreground), thought the photographer was taking too long and decided to settle in for a little nap.

Greyhound owners and Pups Without Partners gather for semi-annual reunion at Night of Stars

About 20 retired racing greyhounds made their way back to The Woodlands on Saturday, May 12, only this time they got to lounge near the Kennel Club instead of racing on the track.
Night of Stars XIX, a nationwide celebration of greyhounds, raises money and brings awareness to greyhound adoption. At The Woodlands, several greyhound owners brought their dogs back for the semi-annual event and swapped stories, had fun and raised money for the Pups Without Partners program.
There were contests for the dogs and a raffle to raise money for PWP. The next Night of Stars will be scheduled sometime in November. Check back to this site as details become available and plan on bringing  your retired racer out for a night of fun.
